The Renegade reaches 95% occupancy for the third straight year
Residents keep choosing to stay, and their friends keep following.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — August 2026. The Renegade, the 605-bed community across the street from Florida State University, opened the 2026–27 academic year above 95% occupancy for the third consecutive year, with more than 200 leases signed in the first three weeks of the leasing cycle for the third year running.
Opened in 2024, The Renegade was designed from a blank page for single-occupancy living, with 30% of its beds in studios in a market dominated by four- and five-bedroom units. Its partnership with FSU Athletics has made the community home to student-athletes and staff and a fixture of game-day life in Tallahassee.
The community offers a resort pool deck, a fitness center, furnished apartments with in-unit laundry and a concierge desk staffed daily.
“The building is only half of it. The team at The Renegade knows residents by name, and that is why they renew.”Charles Howell · Principal
